This artwork is the first of a series (Series 6) in which I explore angles in Geometric Abstraction. The overlapping band gives a sense of depth and the combination of colours create a modern work that will fit comfortably in most environments. I enjoy painting larger scale works the most as I find I am more immersed with the process and have to become one with the canvas. As with all my minimal paintings, the design is planned and structured in design - every colour and line is balanced and well executed.
This work has been painted using Artist Quality Acrylic paint on a Professional Quality stretched cotton canvas with a matt protective varnish, and is signed on the back.
